LOU は波を表す [浪:ろう] 。
海辺の避暑地、逗子うまれ。
コンセプトは「ずっと着られる服」。
それは長い間着られる、丈夫で上質な素材であること。
着心地のよいこと。
自由に動きやすいこと。ポケットがついていること。
軽いこと。
着ていて楽しいこと。お手入れが簡単なこと。
女の子からおばあちゃんまで着られること。
それが LOU の服。
祖母や母の影響で、服を通して表現することの楽しみをおぼえ、
服を、選ぶ、作る、着る、着せる、に没頭する少女時代を過ごす。
その後、2010年までグラフィックデザイナーとして活動。
2015年よりコレクションをスタート。
シンプルを極めた美しさ。
いつまでも変わらない強さ。

Those are the clothes of LOU.
Influenced by my mother and grandmother,
I feel it great fun to express myself
by designing and producing clothes.
I spend may girlhood being absorbed in choosing,
making and wearing clothes for myself
and sometimes for other people.
Later I worked as a graphic designer till 2010.
Then, I started my own collection in 2015
aiming to clothes which have every beauty,
simplicity and lasting power.
Those are the clothes I truely value.
